Unfortunately we have decided not to continue with our Thursday after-school kids classes. They have not been as popular as we had hoped, with most kids deciding to stick with our Sunday morning classes, and it is not economical for us to keep them going.
We apologise to those that have been attending and enjoying the classes but we invite you to attend the Sunday classes if you are able.
All other classes will continue to run as normal.
Did you know that in 2017 we were awarded Lux Magazine awards for ‘Best Dance School – Berkshire’ & ‘Best for First Dance Choreography – Home Counties’ and we have just recently found out that we have been awarded their 2018 award for ‘Best for Wedding Dance Lessons 2018 – UK’!!!
If you’re interested in receiving lessons for First Dance choreography please feel free to check out our site and get in touch.
All solo spaces for our 2018 Bournemouth dance break are now sold out. We still have double and twin rooms available but we recommend booking sooner rather than later.
This year’s break will be covering Quickstep & Jive with a 50’s Rock’n’Roll theme to the Saturday night.
We will be at a new hotel this year, The Hotel Collingwood, and we look forward to welcoming you all back on this popular dance break.
You can book online at www.learndance.co.uk/events.
Learn To Dance is now closed for Christmas and most classes will resume from 4th January (kids will be from 11th January).
For those asking about our impending, currently (21st Dec), he is still hanging in there but keep an eye on social media/email newsletters as we’ll announce the birth via these channels.
We hope you have a great Christmas and New Year and we look forward to seeing you in January.
Due to the continued snow we have decided to cancel all classes and lessons on Sunday 10th December.
All classes next week will run as normal although we will take a view on a daily basis so please check back to confirm your classes are running.
Where possible we will do our best to contact attendees.
Be safe in this weather and don’t travel unless absolutely necessary!
What happens to private lessons and classes when it snows?
We will make a decision each morning during severe weather conditions as to whether it is safe for us, and our students, to get to and from the halls.
Should we deem it necessary to cancel classes/lessons on any given day we will contact all private lessons directly on the contact numbers you have provided us with. For classes we will announce any closure/cancellation on the news section of our website, and also via our Facebook and Twitter accounts.
If we deem the weather conditions to be acceptable then lessons and classes will still run. Should you choose not to attend a pre-booked lesson, we reserve the right to charge you for this if you do not inform us in advance.
In extreme circumstances please feel free to contact us and we will take each situation into consideration.

We recently found out that we had been nominated for two categories in the 2017 Lux Magazine’s Fashion & Lifestyle Awards. First was for ‘Best for First Dance Choreography – Home Counties’ and second for ‘Best Dance School – Berkshire’.
Published quarterly, LUX informs readers on all aspects of high end lifestyle, including the finest, food and drink, hotels and resorts, health and beauty, automotive, jewellery, art and technology from around the world.
After a nail-biting few months we were given the great news that we had won, and not just one of the categories but both of them!
Nominations are anonymous so we don’t know who to thank but thank you whoever nominated us!

Over the course of the weekend there are around 3,000 people that attend the tournament and the school is closed due to the expected traffic and parking issues.
Classes resume from Monday 4th September.
